Won't the water make then angry and drive them towards high ground or top of houses? Image be stuck on the roof of you house and being attack by them? Or trying to swim or wade throught floating swamps..

The next day, there will be dead ants littered around the hole (they take out their dead). Lay the insecticide over the top and add water. Fuckers will be gone. The trick to it is that you need everyone of the block to do it at the same time. I had one neighbor who was lazy and would end up doing their lawn so the fire ants would not move over to mine. Mix some water with a spoonful or two of sugar and a little boric acid. Pour mixture over the cotton balls. Put a lid on the cup and punch lots of holes in it. Put it near ant nests (keep it away from pets and kids). In a few days, there'll be thousands of ant corpses. You have ignored this user.
