Friend of mine is going to Rio de Jan (lucky bastard) end of Feb/beginning of March, and wants to see some MMA action. Does anyone know of any good upcoming events in Rio? Also is it safe to visit these events as a tourist/gringo?

Well, tomorrow you may watch the Rolling Stones for free at Copacabana beach in Rio, and Monday you might see U2 at the Morumbi in São Paulo.
