Logic...who are you addressing? For me, Docs are where my heart is. Each filmmaker is drawn to one genre (usually) that really works for him or her. For me, docs are where I find myself. |

I apologize. I was refering that question to anyone that likes to make Docs, but thanks for the answer. I figure Docs are easier to do and get into than the mainstream Hollywood movies. That's why people do them, right? |

i'm more at home with and trained for narrative fiction. however, i love docs and that's how i got started. indie narrative is more appealing to me than the hollywood system. |

Logic.... Really you should do what you want to do. The opposite of what you want to do, no matter what the genre, is always harder than the one you want to do. |

I think docs are harder to do WELL. Partly because you rarely have absolute control, mostly because the rules aren't as clear. I think it's easier to get your product seen on a budget than narratives, but that's about it. |
