I decided to go to the game tonight and it was fucking depressing. Adrian Aucion made Paul Kariya look like a young man and with the exception of Tony Salmalienen, the only hurry the Hawks had was to get off the ice. The Hawks had dead legs and shifted out twice for every Nashville shift and Nash jumped on them for it when Aucion would make a shitty dump-in (Aucion deserves the credit for tonights sucking sound). The only thing that can be said for this game is that it was their third game in four days, including a game in St. Louis last night, and it was Nashville's first game since Monday. I'm sure that it matters, but you'd think they could have kept Nashville down to something better than a 3 to 1 shot to goal ratio (late in the second period the Pred's has only 21 shots to go along with 7 goals). So...when is Toews coming? |

Aucoin was injured early and has struggled for the Hawks. Habby i think has played great especially with some of our d-men in front of him. Handsuz would have been nice to have all season and Hamilton had been a nice suprise. Rene Bourque has also been injured and has been another disappointment. |

I think Bourque is going through some psychological problems--after catching a skate to the neck he seems to be hesitant on the ice. |

We are fading we need a win vs Detroit and you know thats not happening Havlat is expected back though. |

I think we can pull out a win versus Detroit. So far, Havlat has played very well in his comeback games, and hopefully if he can get going, Ruutu, Arkhipov and Vrbata can pull out of their minor slumps. |
