The Avalanche are a small, non-physical team and for that they are not going to make the playoffs, and need to rebuild. |

Ave-nots got screwed over by their own mismanagement and lack of foresight. They got "Lacroixed" by a bum disguising himself as a GM who got lucky on overpaying a few stars only to be exposed as we all knew he would be. Give them a few years to rebuild and they'll be just fine. |

Last year Hulk Hoggan on the blues had a similar play with 3 big hits, though his were a bit more spread out and I'd say bigger hits overall. |
