I wish Franklin the best after he is KO'd by Wand. Hopefully he makes a successful move to 205

rich will catch wand throwing his wide-ass looping punches and end it via TKO.

I wonder if he was having hardcore flashbacks of his two fights with Anderson while he was training with him..?

At least he's being honest with himself. Sometimes that's the hardest thing to do. I really like watching Rich fight and I think there's a ton of great fights for him at 205.

MW was already a stretch for him. At his age, adjusting between LHW and MW would have to be brutal. Glad he's sticking with one. I like him better at LHW, anyways.

I disagree. I thought he was great in The Truman Show.

I'm assuming the reason is, after training with Anderson, he has even a bigger understanding of how good Anderson is?

Brigham, I have no doubt that factored into the statement, bu I thought he was saying it more from a "wouldn't want to betray the trust we've developed" perspective.

Got nothing but love for Wand. But his time has passed.....
I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't think he will.

OK Anderson, now you're not gonna move up to 205 on me right? lol

I'd love to see Rich clean out the division and avenge his loss to Machida and get the 205 belt at the same time

Does anybody here really think Franklin can take the 205 belt. "Shaking head" Never

If Bisping can go to a split decision with Rashad, is it really inconceivable that Rich could beat him? He's bigger, more experienced, and arguably better than Bisping in all areas.

sooo what happens when rich wins a few and they put him against lyoto?

also, rich is gonna do fuck all against rampage.

I wish him the best. but hes going to have to beat Page and Lyoto and I dont see that happening.

But he will have great fights against:

Rashad
thiago silva
eric schaefer

That was the past. This is now. You really think Franklin can win the belt again? About Bisping, he dropped weight classes after the Evans fight hmmmmmm.

This.

I think that he realizes just how good Anderson is & just how far he has to go to reach that level. I feel like Rich is a great fighter & probably better than 95% of the people out there...masybe 97% but the fact remains that he is probably an A- level fighter.

Props to him but I think to reach the A+ level (wich are the likes of Anderson, Fedor, etc.) it is akin to going from AAA baseball to the MLB.

Not inconceivable, but highly unlikely. Rashad has improved a ton since beating Bisping (who is as good as Franklin, IMO). Rich would have a tough time winning a decision against Rashad, and if anyone got the finish, it would be Evans, not Franklin.

Rich would move back to middleweight if Anderson doesn't stick around there, IMO. Who else other than Anderson would be a clear favorite over Rich at middleweight? I'd really like to see Rich vs. Marquardt.

That's what it sounds like. Although hey, ya gotta respect that!

At the same time, wouldn't it be kinda funny for Zuffa to bill Silva vs. Franklin III as Silva's next fight at 205?

I think Rich matches up pretty well with a lot of 205ers. This ought to be interesting.
