"The UFC could give me another legend, or they could use me as a gatekeeper to fight against the young guys. For example, the name of 21-year-old Jon Jones has been popping up quite a bit. I've been getting Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, but at the same time, I've been hearing that it could be Jon Jones. I would prefer the oldest of the outfit there."

Your thread title is not what Coleman says, just that's what he's heard from the UFC.

lol ALl those names were mentioned in the interview with Crooklyn.

At this point Coleman deserves TIto or Liddell.

Let Bones make his name off of someone else.

Coleman vs Ortiz would be awesome. Coleman vs Liddell would be less so.

DW -  Coleman v. Tito, UFC make it happen!

Coleman would man-handle Tito worse than Couture did.

He addressed this same topic in his interview with Crooklyn last week.

Kinda doubt he'd fight anyone at Extreme Fashion.

Give Coleman another legend. Coleman vs Liddell or Couture would be best.

Didn't the CSAC only give Coleman a license to fight 1 fight when they usually grant 3  fight licenses? Even the commision expected Coleman to get smashed in the Bonnar fight.  I would love to be there when coleman goes to get his next license

They might have done something like that. The proposed regs suggest some changes in duration of a license based on the age of the fighter. That was Nevada, though, not the CSAC.

They actually did some training together. Coleman really likes his game.

That being said, Jon would be too much for Coleman.  Too young, too strong, too fast, too skilled.

I just don't see Coleman having any thing to offer.

I don't like it at all.

I was hoping Jones would go on a long run, but this spells curtains for that.

Let the Antidote crush Bones now when Bones is still an up-and-comer.

Years from now, when Bones is the champ, people will talk about the only man who could dominate him ... The Antidote Mark Coleman ...

...and it begins...

Looks like my diversionary tactic worked, too. I owed Tom, anyways, for the 500+ posts cracking on his various screen names.
