He is a very moble hostile individule; who will beat Dan Severn and 70% of the 205 weight class. Skip is old school hardcore Daddy individule.

It is incorrect. I saw him win a fight in Birmingham about 2 years ago. Go to the Alabama forum, and you can get an accurate record of his fights. For the record, he is pretty strong!!

Skip is a guy who truly fights for the sake of fighting. He doesnt have a lot of good training partners close to him, and its hard for him to really prepare the way he should. That being said, no one can take him lightly (he hits like a mule) and at 60, is in better shape than many people 40 years younger

Fatheadz.com is a sponsor of Skip. He is a great guy and an inspiration to anyone that lets other people tell them they are to old to do something and tells them to kiss your #%!*. We were scheduled to fight earlier in the year. An injury prevented us from fighting. I am looking forward to fighting Skip in 2006. We will be the 2 oldest professional fighters in the world to compete. Skip I will talk to you soon Tony Ross Integrated Fighting/Fatheadz.com

Skip Hall is as old as dirt and twice as tough. I hope that when I am that age I am still doing the things I love too. My name is Dougie and I approve of Skip Hall.

Guys (and ladies), Thanks for the props. Yes, I do LOVE to fight and as far as records go, I've won more than I've lost. I stay in the best shape I can and actually have grown to like cardio (even though I'm sure it was misspelled and is a certified 4 letter word). I'm training now with a few of the best guys in the business (Dave Ferguson of Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, Rich Clementi of Team Vodoo and John Dixson of Dixson's Dungeon) and expect to be better this year. I've got great support starting with my wife, LawdyMama and with sponsors like FATHEADZ, SPRAWL, House of Pain Ironwear, KONJO Fight Gear and Powerhouse Gym of Pelham, Alabama. I've just signed a 5 fight contract with the Worldwide Fighting Championships (WFC) rumored to be a 5 figure deal for the year 2006. I've got some tough opponents this year coming up starting with the first one Jan 21 in Denver. I DO PLAN ON WINNING THEM ALL THIS YEAR and fighting on my 62nd birthday in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of course, I first have to get APPROVAL from the Nevada Athletic Commission that I'm not geriatric or brain dead (like some boxers) before that will happen. I know I'll be in excellent physical shape and like the Louisiana Commissioner told me, "Skip, if you can pass the physical there is NO reason why you shouldn't fight." I had the best vitals and the fight DR in the UK actually ANNOUNCED to the fighters that I was in the best shape of anyone there. I don't plan on changing anything except I'm going to show "No Mercy" at my fights until the afterparty. You are right Jimmy, I'm off to do cardio right now because LawdyMama has cooked and I've eaten a hell of a fine meal (again) tonight. Thanks and keep on supporting and participating in MMA - If you never slow down, you'll never grow old.

Agreed. I just fought my 2nd ammy bout at 34. However, before the match the 18y.o. kid I fought was like, 'wow, you're up there in age. no offense, I just hope that i'm still fighting when I'm that old'. LMAO.
Skip truly is an inspiration. Keep it up Skip.

Skip - May I ask how long you have been training ma and mma? How long have you been fighting? I'm told by almost everybody around me I should quit trying to become a fighter, but thanks to guys like you, win or lose, I say 'No way Jose' and try again.

"but my opinion of Anthony Barbier is that he's a POS for whining about his back when he was about to lose," no respect for barbier at all here. When he was scheduled to fight Newman and Newman had to back out due to family obligations, Barbier talked all kinds of smack about him. A year or so later, the fight was on again. Newman trained like a demon for that fight ( I know, I did loads of tai pad work and clinch drills with him and Ive never seen him so focused) and was ready to get it on. Then they fight, Barbier shows up soft and out of shape, and taps as soon as Newman hit him. I have no doubt that he planned this, because he knew Robbie was going to put a serious hurting on him for showing such disrepect As Newman told me, "I must have hit him in the pussy."
