I liked Sucker Punch if for no other reason it was different, it was something I had not seen before. Yes it was not great, it felt very much like a video game, but I gave bonus points for originality.

I really liked 300 and loved the Watchmen.

The two trailers I have seen of MoS both looked excellent I am excited to see it.

On topic however, Eccelston was excellent as the Doctor, I think he will make a great sneaky, clever bad guy as Makelith. And Kurse would be a great fight match up for some epic battles. It's a shame Brannagh is not directing again though. He brought a great sense of classic drama.

As I've stated on here many times, I really REALLY disliked the Thor film and just don't get the love it gets on here (though to be fair, about 90% of it comes from Leigh).

I have high hopes for the next installment however.

Looks like we're getting Kurse for sure -- Mr. Eko / Adebisi has been cast as Algrim.

I loved it, I don't know what you want if that wasn't good enough for you. Maybe trim out the Warriors 3 as they were just tacked on...

I'd like to hear your issues with Thor as well, Kneeblock.

Thor was awesome and a more fantasy-centric, Malekith/+Algrim/Kurse sequel sounds even awesomer.

Alger Hiss - Malekith means we will get Kurse? Maybe?
Kurse has already been cast and is listed on the Thor 2 wiki page Phone Post

Leigh, why low expectations? Didn't you love Thor? This sounds awesome. More fantasy, more epic, no time needs to be wasted on setup and "oh I'm a regular guy I lost my powers".

Yes Thor was amazing. However, they dropped Branagh as director and Thor was dumbed down in the Avengers, so I expect them to go full retard. Like ironman 2.

I'm almost expecting Harry Potter type fantasy Phone Post

It's got Malekith and Kurse, and is directed by the Game of Thrones director who did the best, heaviest episodes. The screenplay is written by the guy who wrote Thor* plus the guy who wrote Saving Private Ryan. I'm confident.

* he also wrote Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer

I think the director is one of the Game of Thrones directors, iirc. Being that there has never been a bad episode of GofT, I'm pretty excited.

I've never seen Game Of Thrones but I do know that Thor is constantly underpowered.

My thoughts are that his wont be great. Maybe good if we're lucky.

I'm waiting for Superman, essentially I'm in agreement with Leigh.

I'm not too optimistic about the next wave of marvel films. Ironman 2s are coming. Phone Post
