Maybe, then they didn't count the left hook.  Either way, Robbie hit his with teh right that dropped him, a left hook that put him out, and they a hard right when he was out.  It looks like they didn't count one of them or else messed up the count.  He was punched 3 times pretty hard in the face

0 knockdowns? Didn't Robbie knock Manhoef down?

I think that was the "Ground strike"

Manhoef went to the floor from the right, and Lawler knocked him unconscious with the left after Melvin was down. The ref was pushing him off on the third. Lawler hit him with two punches before the ref pushed him off. I don't know how they calculate these things but man if there is discrepancy in counting even just two or three punches, how in the hell can they be trusted to be accurate when you're talking 40-50 strikes per round, esp in a five round fight??  EDITED TO ADD:  Someone pointed out that they didn't count the last strike Lawler hit him with, but what about the left? Did that not count, either? [no sarcasm, genuinely curious how they count strikes]

War Manhoef!!! Robbie did have a hail-marry win. But it was great. I think that Melvin is gonna have some crazy fights in Strikeforce if they continue to let him fight. Question is...will Melvin ever try the whole ground thing. Just curious.

I agree. He stuck to his gameplan and was very defensive and patient waiting for an opening. Melvin got excited because he was destroying his legs and landing good body shots but Robbie was covering up very well and as soon as he saw the opportunity he went for it. Good timing and way to stick to the game plan Robbie!
