Rothwell, Sinosic out of UFC 110 bouts


A shoulder injury suffered by Elvis Sinosic has forced the cancellation of his rematch with countryman Chris Haseman, and heavyweight Ben Rothwell has been sidelined by an illness, forcing him out of his bout with Mirko Cro Cop. Australian veteran Anthony Perosh will step in to face Mirko Cro Cop.

You really have to question the training methods used by some of these fighters. One or two days out from fight night and injuries are sustained? Elvis has been busting his guts to get back into any decent MMA organisation and then this happens. As for Perosh, I actually fancy his chances. He made it to the CFC tourny final recently. He's got nothing to lose. He has a decent stand-up game and good ground game. Rothwell would've sunk early anyways.
