Paulo Filho victorious in Brazil

Former WEC middleweight champion, Paulo Filho got his 20th victory last night, against heavyweight Daniel Gabriel, from Chile, in the very first round. After taking the opponent down, with passed the guard, mounted and worked on the ground and pound, forcing the tap. Fabio Maldonado, who fought at Bitetti Combat last week, came back with another win at the event, submitting Jackson Moura with a guillotine in the first round. Former Big Brother Brasil participant, Marcelo Zulu also won in the event, beating Felipe Bronx’s by TKO in the second round.

Say what you like, but I enjoyed that fight. Paulo got a slam (not a good one, but still a slam) and did his control and positions. I would like to see him against better comp again, but that's the type of fighting that I enjoy.
