The scoring system is messed up.  One fighter is virtually unscathed, ready to go another 2 or 3 rounds and he's perceived as the loser.  The other fighter is on his way to the hospital with multiple broken bones and he's viewed as the winner.  That isn't right.  When we would fight in the school yard, we went by who could no longer go on or until someone quit.  None of this karate style point fighting where all that mattered was points and not damage.  Kamal let Varner know who the big dog was in that fight, whether the fans agree or not.

Great fights, glad I went. The under card fights were pretty decent and the main card delivered. Canada's own Chris Horodecki put on a great fight. Hi-lite was getting to meet and shake Sam Stout's hand. Very personable guy who has time for the fans. I would definitely go to another WEC fight; a class production.

Varner was losing the fight decisively. If Shalorus hadn't been penalized for the groin shots then there is no question, Shalorus would have won. None of the groin shots were intentional and I could see that clearly as was sitting close enough. And Shalorus apologized at the end and explained why. It was pretty much bad aim; it happens in MMA a lot. If Varner would have won then that would have been an injustice.

I honestly feel really bad for you, since I know that you are almost always on point with your picks. I'm never going to bet on MMA until the judging situation is fixed. It seems like any fight that goes to a decision lately is going to be ruined by incompetent judges. It's almost sickening for the fighters that are getting robbed.

His loss was probably worth even more on the judges parlays.

Varner was worth about $300 to me as he completed  a bunch of parlays. Thanks judges.

Yep, thanks. I'm glad, after Shalorus fought so stupidly.

LOL. I disliked Varner yet again after begging for the point deduction, but the nut shots, broken hand, and draw are almost enough for me to get past his douche aura and feel sorry for him.
