Matt Wiman vs. Cole Miller in the works for UFC 125 on Jan. 1

MMAjunkie.com has learned from sources close to the event that lightweights Matt Wiman and Cole Miller have agreed to meet at UFC 125, though no paperwork is signed.

It's unknown whether Wiman vs. Miller will grace the event's televised main card.

Wiman is back on the horse after sustaining an arm injury which forced him to withdraw from a fight with Efrain Escudero at UFC Fight Night 22.

Miller now has three "Submission of the Night" wins overall and a "Knockout of the Night" under his belt.

Vera and Thiago better be on the main card, they can be the Main event and I would have no problem.

Only fights Im interested in is Carwin vs Nelson and Vera vs Silva.I just hope the other fights are entertaining and nothing more.

I was hoping for a Wiman/Danzig rematch, but this is a good matchup. Both guys have great grappling and Cole gets better every time out. Should be fight of the night for sure! And say what you want about Wiman, but he's no cheater.

If this is in reference to Wiman's 115 win, the choice to stop the fight was not at any fault to him
