Dana White cool with Couture retiring, or fighting

"I don't think he can resist (fighting), but my personal opinion is he's had some wins, and I'd love to see a guy like him go out on top," White said of the former UFC heavyweight and Lightheavyweight title holder..

At 47 years old, the nine-time UFC champion often says it's about having fun and finding matchups that interest him rather than plotting his road back to the top.

However, White thinks Couture has the ability to stay in the company of the light heavyweight division's best.

"I'm not going to count Randy out," he said. "Who the hell knows what he could do? He could fight until he is 57. Who knows? But I still consider him one of the best in the world at 205."

"Randy wanting to retire right now, I'd be totally cool with that," White said. "Randy Couture wanting to fight again, I'd be totally cool with that."

I fully expect him to "retire" then come back next year for an immediate title shot.

LOL this isnt pro wrestling. If you are good enough you should win. There is no "burying" done by the fighters. Thats the promoters job.

Randy is not done shocking the world just yet. He's going to bury another young stud before he leaves for good.
