With cards quickly filling into the early spring of 2011, Couture has yet to be scheduled for a bout, leaving many to wonder what lies ahead. Now, we have the answer, and it's on the silver screen.

The multi-time UFC champion has just signed on for a role in the action film "Setup," alongside Bruce Willis and 50 Cent, MMA Fighting has confirmed.

Couture's work on the film will begin in December and run into early 2011. Soon after, he will transition into taping for the sequel to "The Expendables," with filming expected to begin in March.

In "Setup," Couture will play a gangster named Pete. The film is reportedly about a jewelry store heist that leads to a double-cross, with one thief going back for revenge on the partner that went rogue.

Production will largely take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Expendables fighting and action was good, but the dialogue was horrific. Randy explaining Cauliflower ear made me laugh my ass off, should have been left out, guess they had to give an explanation for those who would not know.

All that said, just for the action it was okay. 5/10

I thought Expendables was great it was what it was meant to be imo. Randy does ok I thought he did real good when he was on The Unit. Cant wait for the sequel the Rock should be in it and JCVD should be the bad guy.

I watched The Expendables for the first time the other night and thought it was the best comedy of 2010 and that it should be released every year like Saw. Terry Crews with an automatic shotgun should also be included in every action movie made from here until the end of time. Don't get me wrong, the plot was stupid and rushed but all I expected was a bunch of shit blowing up and people getting killed in awesome ways, so it delivered for me.Can't wait for the sequel.

I think Expendables gets decent reviews because of just how shitty all other movies have been, for years now. I saw it in the theatre, and I have to say I enjoyed it for what it was. Terry Crew and Dolph did it for me. Randy was fine. But something tells me if I go see the Rock's movie it'll be ten times better. Still liked Expendables and I give Sly a pass as he went through hell to make that movie, and no major studio wanted any part of it. So while Rocky/Rambo/Expendables may not be the best movies ever, the way he's had to do the shit himself has made me a much bigger fan of his. I'll definitely give him my money to go see the sequel.... screw Hollywood. I'd rather see Randy fight tho.

Expendables really does not define cool in any way shape or form. I appreciate a good action film but Sly really lost the plot with his direction in this film, it is so terrible and in no way can be justified by saying it is a cool action flick, I like classic action films and this film in no way compares with any of them.Randy's acting is fine though and he was great

How long can it take to film one scene? What I'd say about EXpendables is that at least Randy didn't fuck it up. His lines were limited. Those are the roles he can and should only play. I take it he'll play something like 50 cent's old war veteran uncle, give him a few tips and guns and let him be on his way.
