Most guys that Pat ended up coaching and mentoring ending up legends in the MMA game with such notoriety that they became there own brand name like Militech. For a moment in the young and very rich history of our sport, MFS was considered the absolute best place to train in MMA. The elite of the elite, and their results where tested and proved for all to see. MMA is having its moment, and MFS was a building block to this mainstream breakout success of MMA. They produced and refined some serious and highly technical all around amazing fighters. Certainly there Grade A talent development into the overall MMA scene most certainly advanced the recognition of MMA.MFS legendary stuff.

Funny, I was just wondering a few days ago what happened to MFS-- you haven't heard a peep out of them since the IFL, and it seems like the big names moved on as pointed outBeing in BFE Davenport doesn't help either-- MFS used to be the best gym in the US for a few years, but now you have plenty other options in much nicer places to live so it's a tough sellThings change, that's just part of the sport and its growing pains. Plus guys grow old, change priorities, etc

Interesting thing...MFS was located in the area with arguably the lowest real estate cost of any of the big name gyms, yet Pat never turned it into a Mega-Gym...Max
