Most UFC 125 drug tests come back clean, one sample still processing


Fourteen of the 15 fighters who underwent drug testing at January's UFC 125 event tested clean for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational/drugs of abuse.

However, one unnamed contestant's sample has yet to be cleared.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer today e-mailed the drug-testing results to (, and he noted that the commission is "still processing another athlete's urine sample from that event."

 Do they do "an official announcement" releasing this info, or are they just contacted by media?  I guess I'm not 100% sure. And everyone is speculating there's an issue with Silva and that Rashad will replace him vs. Rampage:

He's asking why they don't just announce the results once they have them all. Not this "most guys tested negative, but hoo man, one is looking fishy, stay tuned for an update!"

 I don't get it. How is updating the media on the status of a test "milking a story"?  And how would that alleged tactic benefit them?

LOL. The NSAC is such a bunch of fucking attention whores. They pass it off as being "diplomatic", I think they just love milking every story as much as possible to get their names in the press. It even gets to the point of abusing their power, such as barring athletes from competing in other countries, etc etc.
