Dos Santos plans to use speed to defeat Lesnar

by Ray Flores | source:

"(Brock Lesnar) shows he doesn't have a good chin to accept punches. I think I am faster than him, so I will try to use my speed, throw some punches and try to keep the fight standing up to win."

"He's a nice guy. He's a very nice guy but we don't speak too much to each other. Just say hi and that's it."

"The prediction for the fight is I'm going to give all that I have to try to knock him out, for sure."

^Good analogy, loved the flying armbar he'd pull.

Good call on Mir. He is kinda like a HW Rumina Sato.

A powerful striker stands a chance to make Lesnar do the six step again. Yes, Lesnar has the ability to bring any opponent down to the mat but every match starts on the feet first.I agree it is a classic clash of styles. JDS is strong and fast enough to even catch Lesnar as on his first closing the gap attempt. JDS does not have Cain's wrestling ability but he hits harder. Its JDS vs Cain that is the real HW super matchup that I hope materializes in about a year's time.

You just used Mir and Roger Gracie in the same argument............ As good as Mir, isnt much of a bar to set. Mir, is one of the most overrated guys off his back to ever get in front of TV. Mir doesnt sweep people, cant recover to his feet, and really cant defend himself on his back. He either catches someone early and brutally, or takes and ass beating. I bet he IS as good as Mir at the things that will matter in that fight (actually probably better, since he wont be training a game to try to tap Lesnar).

I highly doubt he's as good as Mir. Just because he trains with Nog doesn't mean he turned into Roger Gracie overnight. He just sub'd by some jabroni in 2007

JDS seems like a very nice and respectful guy.  Would be a great representative, as Cain, if he became the next champion.

I'd guess JDS is probably excellent on the ground.

Which reaction? Lesnar winning, or Lesnar losing? To be honest, is an even fight at worst for Lesnar. Lesnar's big implode was Cain. The roof fell in on his bandwagon after that one.
