UFC middleweight contender Michael Bisping will face disciplinary action for his behavior following his UFC 127 win, UFC president Dana White told MMA Fighting.
Shortly after finishing his second-round TKO over Jorge Rivera, Bisping walked over to the octagon corner closest to Rivera's team and spit in their direction. The incident was caught on camera, though Rivera's cornermen could not be seen from the angle shown.
Rivera's boxing coach Matt Phinney was hit, according to a statement from their camp. Bisping denied spitting at them, saying, "I was spitting on the floor to let him know what I thought of him."
That's a nice revision of history. Everything leading up to it was Bisping not being respectful during the TUF show where they were both coaches. Sure, you can blame the editing of the show for why Bisping came off like a little bitch and Henderson called him on it, but I would not say that Bisping was a gentleman before that point in the least.
Not a big deal. You asked for a quote of Bisping talking shit about Henderson and there it is. Calling fighters a one trick pony (Damian Maia) is another example. Don't worry, most people left the thread before I outed you as being wrong. Don't sweat it.
The two faced bit, Right after Henderson had called him a douchebag, both had been very respectful up to the point that Henderson decided to start with the trash talk. The knife into a gunfight is not trash talking, if you think it is you have to lighten up a bit kid, stop being so sentitive
