Miller stops Shalorus in 3rd round for TKO victory

by Michael David Smith | source:

Jim Miller showed once again that he's among the best lightweights in mixed martial arts on Saturday, dominating Kamal Shalorus and winning a third-round TKO at UFC 128.

The fight ended on a great combination of strikes from Miller, featuring a huge left uppercut to the chin, followed by a big knee to knock Shalorus down, followed by hammerfists on the ground to end the fight at the 2:15 mark of Round 3.

"I hit him so hard I think I might have cracked my hand," Miller said afterward. "He's got a hard head."

They should have waited to match up Siver, Sotiropoulos or Guillard as either would be a good fight for Miller.

Nice knee, but he nailed him right after with like 10 shots straight to the back of the head.Apparently that doesn't matter in the 3rd round or when you are in the middle of finishing your opponent.

miller needs a top 5 opponent next. shalorus's technique needs so much improvement yet every fight he looks the same.
