Rich Franklin wants to fight Jon Jones?

"The very first time I saw Jon Jones fight, I remember coming home and talking to my business partner at American Fighter and saying, ‘This guy is going to be a stud. I knew it right away. He’s got an 84-inch reach, and he’s 6-foot-4. It’s just crazy.

You see guys like that, and you’re like, ‘They’re bigger than me, and they’re stronger than me,’ but I’m a fighter, and there’s a part of me that still wants to fight them and see how I’d do."

Before the Griffin fight I would have agreed. I think Rich matches up skillwise with plenty of top LHW's but it's clear the size disadvantage would be too much.

I give Rich respect for having the balls to call him out. But thats a tough mountain to climb.

Props to Ace for wanting to fight a guy nobody else seems to want to fight.  Go Rich!

Ace would retire after he wins.

Didn't Gurgel make a comment before Jones fought Bader about "not letting" Rich fight Jones? Rich should definitely stick to Gurgel's advice on that one, maybe a few years ago he would have been a better match-up, but he's slowing down. And UG News yet again posting a bullshit thread title. It never ends.

This, what a horribly out of context quote.

Jones just doesn't have that much experience. He is still on the rise and open to a loss to a crafty vet like Franklin. That said, my money would be on Jones.
