He fights UFC veteran Mike Nickels (9-4) on June 18 at Armageddon Fighting Championship 6, which takes place at Bear Mountain Arena in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
When asked what he envisions for himself five years from now he made it pretty clear how serious he really is with his new endeavor.
"I am thinking the UFC light-heavyweight champion," he said. "That's the goal for everyone in my weight class ... There are a lot of guys ahead of me. I understand that. I'm not in a huge rush. I think I'm doing things the right way."
