This just happened at the gym a few weeks ago - coach was demonstrating setting up a move from a neckride I think, So he has the forearm across the guy's throat and says "he has two options, fight back or pass out". He paused and said "fight back", then everyone noticed the guy was out. Everyone felt bad for the guy since he was pretty new and nobody laughed at him, just patted him on the back. I'm not completely sure he still knows he went out unless someone told him. He was sort of looking at coach like "when do we get to the move?"

What concerned me was how legitimately scared he got when he realized the dude was out...he taps his chest a few times and then his face goes to fear. Unusual at most levels of BJJ other than whites or newish blues IME...Strange.
