Browne breaks down the Superman KO

Karyn Bryant: "You are avery tall man yourself, but was it difficult getting in on Stefan and hitting your target?"

Travis Browne: "He does a good job of extending his hands out and it messes with your punches,
you can't get anything clean. And so It was one of those things where we started seeing him progress
in that sense, and become more defensive when somebody would come in on him. That being said, it was one of our things to attack hard, separate, come out and be explosive again right as soon as he was coming in.

"I expected a three round war ... I was talking with Christian Morecraft and he was like "Man, that guy never dies. He is like that cockroach that you are stepping on and stepping on and he keeps running from you and you're like DAMMIT." I am not saying he is a cockroach, but, you know what I mean?"

I don't know what to make of Struve, in previous fights he gets beat down and makes the improbably comeback. This fight he gets KO'd...Not sure where he ranks in the HW division, it'll be interesting to see who he matches up with next and if he can bounce back.

He doesnt - they got some sparring in together recently - Struve is a student of Dirty Bob S.

For someone that trains in Holland with Daniel Ghita, Struve's striking looked almost pathetic. The guy has to come train in America.

When your opponent throws an attack on a regular basis (As Struve does, leaping around throwing knees with his hands wide out ala Buentello/Struve), is it really 'luck' to land a counter on it? Surely Browne expected it.

BTW I was looking for that cheap shot Struve-Morecraft GIF but I could never find it. I believe it was the beginning of the third round and Morecraft was dominating the fight. IIRC Struve fakes a glove touch and kicks him, Morecraft handles it terribly seeming to abandon his gameplan of TDs which was working perfectly, in favour of berserk rage haymakers at which point Struve caught him and put him out. I will never root for Struve.
