UFC 130 only drew 7,470 paid attendees

UFC 130 recorded a gate of $2,577,250 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 28, 2011, according to official figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released earlier today.

The final attendance of 12,753 was a result of 7,470 tickets sold and 5,283 complimentary tickets. A considerable 1,161 tickets went unsold.

Good result considering it wasnt a big card by any means.Compare a low end card like that to a "stacked" card from Strikeforce and you will see the difference in brand power.

 I predicted 6,000 to 6,500 ... 7500 for that shitty of a card is quite impressive. especially at those prices... entire lower bowl was 400 / 600 / 800.

can't say that I am surprized. Not a solid line-up, and to be honest there are just two many UFC shows. As a fan I am not complaining, but you can't expect to sell 12,000 tickets 8 times a year in Vegas.
