Chuck Liddell: Jon Jones is not unbeatable

source: fighthubtv.com

Marcos Villegas got a chance to catch up with the UFC Hall of Famer and Ex-Champ & now VP of Business Development for the UFC. Liddell comments that the hardest part of walking away from the sport of MMA is walking away itself. So what does the retired former champion doing now?

Well for one, sparring with his friends and staying in training shape. With the help of Jay Glazer, Liddell has been jumping back into MMA training going thru his conditioning programs. He also shares what it takes in putting together a “fan friendly” card and more. Lastly we get Chuck’s opinion on the man who is the current champ of Chuck’s former division; Jon “Bones” Jones.

Why? He's taken down better wrestlers like they've never even competed and utterly dominated everyone put in front of him including the proverbial LHW GOAT in Shogun. I love Chuck as much as the next guy, but he'd lose this one no differently than the previous fighters that have taken on Jones.

I agree, no ones unbeatable. That being said Jones isn't losing for a good looooong time given his age, athleticism, physical build, and fast learning rate.

I agree, nobody is unbeatable in MMA, but Bones is the closest to unbeatable that I have ever seen. Standing up, on the ground, I dont see anybody that is even a threat to him.

^ This. JBJ's reach is unnatural, and makes it hard for guys to close gaps without getting sniped apart

With his ability it would be very hard. With 8-10 inch reach advantages with that build it's much harder.
