Anyway...props to Leben, but it really sucked seeing Wand get KO'd like that.

His clinch was way too loose because he was rocked and just grasping to hold on. Then the uppercuts finished him.I do think if the fight would have lasted longer that his gameplan was to use knees though, and that's why he instinctively lunged for the clinch after he got rocked.

He was loose with his clinch because he was on queer street.  He was already wobbling at that point.

He might have been. I need to rewatch it, but I thought it was the uppercuts that did him in. A tight MT clinch takes away space for those. My memory is that he was way to loose with his clinch.

He was already not functioning wholly at that point.  He got rocked by the shot to the head; that is what lost the fight for him.  Everything after that was auto-pilot actions with semi to non coherent thought process.

His attempt to clinch is what lost him that fight.Leben just teed off on him with uppercuts.

It's sad becuase there's no training to improve the element he is missing. Once your chin goes it just gets worse.   Wand has been my favorite fighter for a decade, he was the scariest fighter to ever grace the pride ring.
