Strikeforce.com page hacked, Fedor not fighting Silva or GSP

Fedor Emelianenko isn't headed to the UFC. He's not fighting Anderson Silva. And that potential bout with Georges St-Pierre? Not a chance.

Despite a story on Strikeforce.com mentioning all of those possibilities (see image and text below), they're simply not true, officials today told MMAjunkie.com.

It appears the website was the victim of some hacking and too-odd-to-believe trolling.

It's not clear how the bogus story made its way to Strikeforce.com, though it's since been removed. But after the UFC acquired Strikeforce earlier this year, the companies' front offices underwent substantial restructuring, and a handful of employees were terminated. It's possible the website's login information trickled out the way, or perhaps a security-savvy MMA fan simply decided to have some fun while most of the organization's West Coast-based employees slept.

Fedor will be fighting Dan Henderson on July 30, at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson, aired on Showtime

Strikeforce.com has removed the content at the bogus new url, and replaced it with something we can all agree on, ring card girl Kelli Hutcherson.

Image and text from hacked page:

A dream super-fight is now a reality.

Fedor Emelianenko, who is now walking around at 215lbs, will be moving over to the UFC brand after his July 30th bout with Dan Henderson. Emelianenko's first fight will be none other than UFC Middleweight Champion, Anderson Silva.

The fight will take place sometime after UFC 134, which is headlined by Anderson Silva as he takes on Yushin Okami. Emelianenko vs Silva will likely take place at 205lbs. However, Fedor Emelianenko will be undergoing a test-cut after his fight with Dan Henderson. His management has agreed that if he can make the cut to 185lbs without much trouble and if Anderson Silva defeats Yushin Okami, then Fedor Emelianenko vs Anderson Silva will be contested at 185lbs and will be for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

Georges St. Pierre may also be in the mix if he is able to defeat UFC 137 opponent, Nick Diaz. If St. Pierre decides to move up to middleweight, he will be fighting the winner of Anderson Silva and Fedor Emelianenko.

You're wrong. Fedor still has a huge impact. People still love to see him fight because he's one of the more exciting fighters in MMA. No lay N pray, jab N jog or wall N stall with Fedor.
