Cesar Gracie not defending Diaz, but points to social anxiety

"I told Dana [White] he was right to have done that," Gracie said.

In fact, Gracie called White in the middle of the UFC's press conference to announce the main event switch to say as much.

"There's a lot of hard workers I see that have trouble putting food on the table for their kids," Gracie said. "I've stuck up for Nick a lot, but I can't stick up for him on this one."

If you closely examine the endocrine system of someone with social anxiety who is in a demanding situation filled with expectations and crowds, their physiology is almost identical to that of a baboon on the open savanna who's about to have his stomach ripped open by a rival. The shit is not fun, and I can totally understand Diaz's response, if that's what he's going through. The irony is that when he's in the ring, and actually about to have his stomach ripped open, or as close to the human equivalent in sport, he seems calm.

It's obvious that the guy deals with anxiety and depression. People who are familiar with the symptoms have mentioned it numerous times before. The corners of Nick's mouth are always sloped down, and that's a huge sign that somebody is depressed. His behaviour has mental illness written all over it.

You're telling me that he was hiding from his friend and instructor of many years because he all of the sudden got a case of social anxiety? Not buying it.

or he is just a weed head who likes getting high. Any alcoholic will tell you that alcoholic helps calm them down, take the edge off of course it does, because they are alcoholics! Same with dope heads, they never develop the skills to operate in normal life (like fufilling contractual obligations or answering their phones) because they would rather get high and pretend it doesnt matter
