jesus, some of you are spazzing... wowHardy is one small piece of a huge puzzle that is the layers and layers of GSP's training campthere's no way this can have a negative effect on himand Hardy can mimic Condit's upright striking stance, footwork and aggressiondo you guys flip out when fighters bring in sparring partners that you've never heard of? do you think GSP, BJ, Anderson, Cain etc all ONLY train with title holders and contenders and the 2 or 3 other big names in their gym? how's that gonna work? they spar and grapple with dudes you've never heard of and nobody around here throws fits, there's no way Dan Hardy is a downgrade from people like thatyou guys are acting like Georges is gonna go for a 3 mile jog in the morning and then spar with Hardy for the next 6 hours while Firas yells "good Georges!"

The number of people that have gone full retard in this thread is quite disconcerting, even by the usual ug standards.

I'll tell you how this is all gonna turn out: Yes, GSP is going to maul Condit, probably by decision, winning on all three judges' scorecards 50-44 or worse.  But then Condit will call out Jon Fitch, they will fight, and Condit will KTFO Fitch and take over the #2 WW ranking, and hold onto it for a long time.  And as much as it pains me to say it, Rashad's ending will be vastly different from Condit's - especially the aftermath.

getting beat by the #1 contender doesn't make you a can... that fight, and the Stun Gun fight, are what put Carlos over.

I think Hardy is gonna benefit GREATLY from time spent with the Jackson's guys. I just don't see what Hardy could possibly teach GSP. Or why it matters to GSP. Hardy's just another sparring partner in a long line of....sparring partners.

Oh, please. He got knocked out by Condit when they were trading punches. They hit each other simultaneously, and had there been a quarter inch difference in the way they landed, Condit might have been the one to go to sleep. It's not like Condit put on a clinic of dominance.Don't get me wrong, I think Condit is a better fighter overall than Hardy is, but this "DESTROYED" of yours was a bit hyperbolic. Also, Hardy has a similar build and a similar striking style to Condit. I think he can be a pretty useful asset in GSP's camp.People also like to forget that it's not like GSP's entire training regimen is centered on Dan Hardy. He's just one of the many people who will be helping GSP train for this fight. It's not like he's GSP's super secret ace in the hole.

lol @ the internet coach know-it-allsmore UFC caliber fighters in the gym is ALWAYS a good thingwhether that guy is a scrub or a legit WW contender, if he is good enough to have wins in the big show, he is good enough to do some rounds with the champ in the gymand if you knew anything about fighting, you'd realize that Carlos did not blow Dan up with way superior skill. they both threw left hooks with their right hands down at the exact same time, and Carlos has better form on his hook. nobody was dominating the fight
