Only way I see BJ winning this is if he starts shooting for takedowns.I honestly think Diaz will beat bj, and i dont know how so many are overlooking Diaz.

It's a tough fight to call but when thinking about my decision I have to look at the Penn vs. Egar fights and Diaz vs. Noons II as references. In the Penn vs. Edgar fights its obvious how BJ gassed out before the end of the third rounds of each fight, with that in mind, Nick Diaz has amazing cardio and hasn't really gassed in a fight recently. The man does triathalons in his spare time. Ths would play a huge role in the fight if it were to go into the third round in which Diaz would have a huge advantage. In Diaz vs. Noons II, KJ was able to land good punches (just like their first bout) and even stun Diaz once. BJ having the same build as Noons, but having much better striking and an actual ground game, points to the likely possibility that he will able to hurt Diaz on the feet and be able to keep the fight competitive on the ground if need be. Diaz's boxing has improved a lot since his first UFC run and has shown to be improving as each fight goes by. His jab truely is great if you watch his fights and how he sets up combinations with it. It will be very interesting with his reach advantage and faster fight pace how BJ will answer to that. Another factor to consider is BJ's chin which is one of the best in the UFC right now and has proven itself against many decent strikers. With ALL that being said it really is a "pick em" fight, in cases like this I don't put my seal of approval on either fighter to win on a bout like this. But if I HAD to pick I would most likey pick BJ to win but I really want Diaz to get the victory so that it can set up GSP with another good fight and keep the WW title with competetive and interesting match ups and keep it away from any potential rematches.

I <3 Both FightersIf I had to choose, I'd pick BJ solely because of his Polynesian Dome/Chin. No way I'm putting money on it though. Great Matchup!

The variable that will matter lies with BJ Penn.If he shows up like he did vs Kenny Florian or Diego Sanchez, Diaz might be in trouble.

No, i didn't see the video and nor do i care to. And to be honest i'm far from a boxing nuthugger.I could really careless about it. And i never said i knew more about boxing/striking than anyone. If you think Diaz' boxing is good for MMA, then that's your opinion. I personally think his boxing isn't that good. I think he's an overrated fighter (IMO). I don't think he's near the top ten in the UFC. Having a 6-4 record in the UFC, doesn't put him near the top ten. There are numerous fighters that would beat him at welterweight. And there are fighters at Lightweight that would beat him too....Don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter. But not in that elite group....

Diaz's bleeding days are over. He got his brows fixed up, didnt he? I think right after the first noons fight.Prior to this, a scratch could have lead to a cut stoppage. Over his last say 8-9 fights, just not the case.
