Monson could actually beat him, or at the very least give him an extremely tough fight. M-1 probably saw Monson/Cormier, saw how slow, sluggish and easily tagged Monson was and thought Fedor would likely beat him on the feet via big speed advantage.

People dont like M 1, m aybe not the org but the way they've handled Fedor so people dont like them.Second 30 bucks for this fight is a joke, its not people rooting for it to fail we just all know it's gonna fail, miserably.its a stupid move, this should be on Showtime, actually I think Showtime didnt want the fight so thats why its on PPV.

What a well thought out response! I expect nothing more actually. Whether you like it or not what I posted is the truth. There are less MMA orgs around the world. The UFC has gotten bigger and especially bigger here. They've saturated the market to such a degree that it looks like "MMA" is huge but morons equate MMA with UFC.More orgs mean more variety, ie production, rules, ring/octagon....things that true MMA fans love.Sad that such an enlightened being as yourself can't see this.

No one is rooting for it do to poorly.I think everyone is just shocked at the route M-1 has gone with this card.Promotion is sub par, the cost is way too high for the product, and the time of day is absurd. All recipes for it to NOT do well, and that's not rooting against it, its just being honest.

Calling a crap card that is a rip off for 30 bucks a crap card, does not mean you do not watch any MMA outside of the UFC.Get your heads out of your asses. This card is worse than the Leben/Munoz UFC...but at least that one was free.M-1 has been calling Monson one of the best American Martial artists to hype up this fight. In Comparison, if the UFC had a main event featuring someone like Tim Sylvia, calling them one of the best American martial artists, you anti Zuffa nitwits would have a field day, calling Dana a joke, etc.Guess you turn a blind eye when it is M-1 doing it.The only interest at all is a nostalgic angle to watch a declining Fedor.

Why is this on PPV?Seriously, 730am est and 430am on the west coast? Who is gonna wake up early on a Sunday after 139 and spend 30 bucks to see Fedor coming off 3 losses fight Monson? On showtime at 10pm I'd watch, on PPV at 730am for 30 bucks? Yeah right.I'll wake up at noon and find a video of the fight.
