Thought the same thing watching the presser on Fuel... thought it was some celebatory alcohol. I noticed Dana was drinking from it around the time he told the world to stop bitching and buy a ticket..retard. Now that they are mainstream I really wish Frank or Lorenzo would take over as figurehead/moutpiece for the company. I lol'ed when curt menefee compared him to roger goodell.

great news and the best thing that could happen to mma fans is for these network shows to take off... my fear is the "is that it?" response I heard from all non-mma followers after the fight will drive the second show's numbers down...

you don't really believe the "out of the 8.8 million, only 1 million will be back" part, right?

If only it was Dana's call. This was FOX giving the UFC air time that was NOT part of their deal.Their deal doesnt begin to 2012. Fox was being generous.

I think this is one time Dana White should have taken his own advice, people know fighting it's in our DNA, instead of trying to educate people just show two fights If they showed Guida fight the ratings would have been bigger

Thats good. yeah you figure Fox is gonna promote FX shows, FX is gonna promote Fox and Fuel shows, Fuel is gonna run commercials for FX and Fox shows.Wonder if shit will run on main FOx for Fuel stuff, if they want to build that channel up they should.Any word of if they are gonna try and get Fuel into more homes? Like work something with Comcast so they carry it cause I have comcast in NJ and I dont have HDnet or Fuel and I'm fucking furious.I know the whole point is to make Fuel bigger and the end goal probably is to make it the UFC home and get it into more homes, hopefully it works but it might take some time.I mean I hear they are gonna do TUF Brazil on Fuel and that international events, maybe UK events will air on Fuel. I mean thats gonna make alot of mma fans want this channel so hopefully they can get it into more homes.

No big college football game on, no big boxing on the same night, UFC puts on a big fight on Fox, imagine what the ratings will be.Its not hard to imagine an 8 plus average and a peak of 11 or 12 mill.I mean if the fight lasted longer it wouldnt have dropped from 8.8 to 5.9 right after the fight it would have stayed and maybe even grown which would have put the average in the 6 to 7 range since they lost 3 mill viewers with 15 minutes left in the broadcast. So if they put a big fight on Fox with nothing to compete against they would do a huge rating.

it's gonna get crosspromoted and it will cross polinate accross all platforms including fsn.  Fox is gonna funnel traffic to fx and fuel... and vice versa.  (like in your example: fox channel promoting tuf on fx, etc.. )
