He was when he pushed Fedor to the ropes but his cornerman directed him otherwise, telling Ishii to BREAK which was weird.Apparently you did not hear what Ishii's cornerman said. I bet you also didn't know the backstory behind this matchmaking. It was the Fedor camp that offered to fight Ishii. Ishii was initially hesitant perhaps because of his huge weight loss to fight Paulo Filho. The Dream Officials publicly said that Antonio Inoki worked as a go-between to make the match happen. It was part of all Antonio Inoki's show. They were running out of time. Welcoming New Year's Day is huge in Japan. Timed with this Inoki event, Fedor even held a charity auction for the Tohoku area, devastated by the earthquake and tsnami. He was a V.I.P. in Japan on New Years Eve.It was all scripited, but a loss is a loss for Ishii. That I know.

Ishii's cornerman even told him to break when he was about to take Fedor down. I too thought it was a weird fight. Antonio Inoki was heavily involved in this matchmaking. So no surprise there.

stone pony is a fuckin retard troll. hes proved it over and over. if his dumbass would go to the video bonds posted and skip to Ishii walking out the ring and 16:49 he would see Ishiis nose is about an inch to the right/screen left. yes we know pride fixed a few fights. look at coleman takada. but ishii took a real shot, broke a nose and wanted no more.ill admit, he trolled me good to the point where i kept responding. hes going on ignore/getting greasemonkeyd.

JMMA haters out in force. Isii outclasse totally but those claiming fake....wake up to yourself. Some positives to take from this, Fedor looking organised and not looking to "hail Mary." Good to see some straight punches in the mix. IMO, Fedor will use one more opponent as a litmus test for his changed approach and then he will test himself against a top level opponent.

People like stonephony really get you guys going!  He and others are starting banter thru boredom.  There is nobody on this planet that thinks that was fake.  Fedor has fought monsters!  Now needs a fake fight to a little guy? Nobody really believes this was fake, escpecially with the 10 camera angles in high def!  This is a funny thread

WRONG! Big Daddy has actually posted here on the UG saying he was never involved in a fixed fight. He said he was offered one (but from the rival camp NOT the organisation) and he DECLINED it but lost anyway. Rampage has never said he was in a fixed fight. Find these public accusations if they exist.

Rampage and Goodridge have publicly made accusations that there were fixed fights, works, and shady matchmaking in the GPs.Both were out of PRIDE at the time, and Rampage was under contract with the UFC.
