The bout will be Napao's 15th in the UFC, and the first for Del Rosario, who is coming over from Strikeforce, with ZUFFA having shuttered the Strikeforce heavyweight division. Undefeated in 11 pro fights, Del Rosario saw his career derailed when a driver crossed the median and rammed his, causing extensive back injuries. This is Del Rosario's first back from the injury.

The main event at UFC 146 is champion Junior dos Santos vs. another Strikeforce import, Alistair Overeem.

If Shane is completly back to 100%, I think he beats Gonzaga. Can only assume since he's signed for the fight that he'll be ready to go with no lingering effects from his injury.I've been waiting for Del Rosario to get a big fight for a long time. If healthy, he's the top HW prospect in the game in my book.

And not every fight is going to be against a guy who once fought for the title then lost a runaway decision to Brendan Shaub who out boxed him. Should be a good scrap though. Looking forward to it.

Not every fight is going to be against a 250lb. brazilian jiu jitsu black belt who once fought for the belt who also has heavy hands. I understand what you're saying though.

I think he'll be fine. He's in the big leagues now, every fight is going to be tough regardless.

Rather see Shane against someone else making their UFC debut. Very tough first fight.
