Jesus, seriously the UFC needs to protect Sonnen, Dana cant downplay this like oh he will be ok and they hate him but they just want to see him lose.It only takes one person to do something stupid, he seriously needs to be protected and man if he wins that fight that will be a scary thing to watch.Hopefully Silva smashes him cause this has the potential to get really ugly and could be a huge black eye for mma if something goes wrong.

I just hope they can catch lightning in a bottle like the first fight. It's easy to say Chael cheated, AS was injured, blah blah blahBut the fact of the matter is, I'll never ever forget watching the fight with all my friends, rooting for AS while everyone else was screaming go Chael, and I just kept saying you wait and see. Chael's gonna try and smother him, he'll hide from the punches, but he'll eventually get caught. INSTEAD Chael takes AS completely by surprise and only gets takedowns when they're set up by beautiful simple combos that are actually knocking down AS and stunning him. I remember my friends were screaming at Chael for using his wrestling instead of sticking to his striking, who the fuck saw that coming???, and even more amazing, every round AS would slowly adapt -- getting more damage from his back, stuffing more TDs and starting to cut open Chael, to the point where the stunned and beat AS looked like he should be winning. All that damage argument, all that active from the back argument, all of it meant nothing cus it took to long for AS to kick in and I was screaming at the TV sure this would be the end to a dominating legacy WHEN BANG, he pulls out the techniques of his slandered master and submits Chael in the manner he's most weak, closed guard. I still can't believe how manufactured and fake this all seems, but when the fighting actually lives up to the drama and even matches it perfectly, that's when you find the perfect blur between reality and fiction. It's like how Ali's trash talking would actually result in his perfect predictions of KO time, all the while he was clowning. How his rote Uncle Tom routine actually turned a fucking foreign nation against his opponent! I can't even root for AS this time around. I want him to win, but all I care about is this fight turns into the spectacular event it's been building up to be over the past half decade.

I've loved some of Chael's trash talk, I've found some of it derivative and boring / over the top, but this is exactly why it wasn't meant for me and why Chael is so awesome imo I'm not Brazilian, I don't have an intense sense of national pride and don't react to childish swears and trash talk the same way. Seeing how every Brazilian fighter talks in interviews, seeing how honor bound they are, seeing the fan interviews and considering the ability to actually hold a fight in Brazil... well, this is just as perfect a set up as you could get. Thousands of Brazilians who want to see Chael destroyed, the greatest legend ever is the Brazilian so the odds are stacked in the favor of the home crowd and best yet, they get to see someone who even though he'll likely get destroyed, is the only person in ages to make the god fighter look vulnerable so theres still a great story. Throw in the fact that this "Oregon Gangster" was actually busted for PED use and money laundering, and has personally insulted Anderson's family and Masters, well godamn, theres the making of another Zaire, at least for the mma nerds who follow this sport mad close!!!

Why the change of heart? For me cheering for Sonnen would be like cheering for the NY Yankees....never happen! Plus, Fael is a troll. He will get beat into a bloody pulp and be forgot about soon after...
