Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is expected to be featured in the 2012 edition of ESPN The Magazine's "The Body Issue," multiple sources close to the fighter today told MMAjunkie.com.The issue's release date could not be confirmed, though it could hit stands this fall.
"The Body Issue" features pro athletes in various states of undress (with strategic hand and equipment placement). Other MMA fighters, including Gina Carano and Jon Jones, have been featured in the always-popular edition of the magazine.

Rousey has been forthright about nude images, making contrary remarks on TapouT radio about UFC ring card girls appearing in Playboy.
“With all these ring girls and their vaginas, – all of this goes back to advice my mom gave me. She gave me this one piece of advice, which I still hold dear. She said, ‘Look, whatever pictures you put out there are gonna be out there forever, so just think that one day your 12 or 13-year-old son or daughter is going to see those pictures. Whatever you want your son or daughter, or even your 13-year-old little sister to see, keep that in mind.’ So, whatever I’m not gonna show on a beach, I’m not gonna show in a magazine. These girls are going to have to explain to their kids one day why mommy’s ass and vagina are all over the place.”
Rousey was even more blunt in an interview with MTV.
"I'm not going to show my nipples, cooch or butthole," Rousey said. "That's my limit! Mom told me that any pictures I take will be around forever and I don't want to take pictures that I would be ashamed to show my little sisters."
So expect strategic placement.
Past issues have included several MMA notables.
The Ugly (that's Randy Couture's ear)
Jon Jones ... beeeep
Chris Santos and her husband Evangelista Santos. And beep
Herschel Walker. Walker is blue, not sure why.
Past non MMA athletes baring almost all include ...
