Struve has an excellent chin, which allows him to survive the first barrage of the strikers.

Really disappointed, really wanted Lavar to pull through but he was way too predictable as expected and with Struve's size, it was an easy technique to execute on his part. Once Lavar threw that barrage, his arm got locked and it was game over. I really hope he learns from this and starts focusing more on his ground game and how to avoid submissions. He wasn't cautious on when to throw his punches at all, when you go against Struve, you just got to be.

He turns immediately for an armbar on the left side and crank. Struve lets go right when Johnson taps, but he appears to be hurt anyway.
