White: Pat Miletich could be in the UFC Hall of Fame

Recent inductions have endured scrutiny from fans and pundits who wonder exactly how fighters are selected and point to some of the sport's bygone superstars as athletes who deserve the recognition. Chief among those fighters cited are former UFC champions Pat Miletich and Frank Shamrock, both current Strikeforce broadcasters and both men who have endured their share of conflict with White.

But the UFC boss doesn't group the two together. In fact, he believes Miletich may very well someday take a spot alongside Ortiz and the others.

"Miletich is a guy who contributed to this," White said. "At the time when we bought this company, Miletich had probably the biggest and the best camp in the entire sport. At that time, Pat's camp was huge, and all the top guys came out of Miletich.

"Pat was actually the champion, and he lost to Carlos Newton when we bought the company. He was Matt Hughes' coach. Jens Pulver. Tim Sylvia. A guy like Miletich could (be in the Hall of Fame)."

After Dana inducts himself and the Fertittas...he will induct Goldie...because he's been there for the UFC through so much !!Eddie Bravo invented the Twister and he's friends with Rogan...They're up for induction before Frank I believe.

think Pat should be based on his coaching. He had 3(?) ufc champs under him. Jens, Matt, and Tim were all his students. That's pretty impressive. Double check, but I think Dave?( 185 lbs) was the champ for a day.Pat should be in for these reasons. As a fighter alone, I dont think so. He was good, but not the dominating fighter that deserves HOF

Oh please...what HORSESHIT !L M A O !!!LOL @ Dana falling over himself trying to justify in a million ways why Militech belongs in the UFC HOF....while Frank Shamrock has no place in it.RIIIIIIIIIGHT...So now all you have to do it "contribute" to the sport and you get in the HOF....but be a multiple time champion and MMA/NHB icon like Frank....and you don't get in.But, but, but Uncle Dana said HOF is for the guys that contributed to the sport AFTER he and the Fertittas took over (lame reason)....So why was Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock the 1st inductess by that criteria then ???You can bet dana wishes now he didn't induct Ken Shamrock....but according to Dana Ken, Frank, Tito, Fedor, BJ, etc, etc, etc did SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to hurt the "sport"......Oh boo-hoo.Dana,,SHADDUP.....Thoise guys ARE THE SPORT...THEY are the reason we watch....Not see see you on the screen, your "brand" of UFC, or whatever meaningless nobody TUF fighter that you bought on the cheap and are trying to pass off as a "star"Soon Forrest and Bonnar will be in the UFC HOF....but not Frank.Now Militech...had a good team....but no actual maiunstream fan remembers any of his fights, much less his epic "reign" as champ.....and for the hardcore fans that did watch Militech fight......We rememberthe SNOOOOOOOZZZZZZZZE fest that was to watch and why it is beyond stupid to put him in before Frank.

Why anyone cares who is in the Dana White Imaginary Hall of Fame is beyond me. Where is this Hall of Fame actually located? What are the qualifications to get in other than not being on Dana's shit list? You get a piece of glass that resembles a TUF trophy with your name on it at a ceremony hardly anybody sees. Awesome. LOL that Dana mentions being Sylvia's coach as one of the reasons Miletich gets in, but then shits all over Sylvia's time at the top when discussing Sylvia not being allowed back in the UFC. Frame your argument based on whichever way you want the wind to blow I guess.
