Aldo vs. Koch set to main event UFC 153 in Brazil

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight titleholder will defend his belt in the main event of the UFC 153 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, currently slated for the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Oct. 13, 2012.

UFC officials made the announcement earlier today.

Aldo was originally set to battle Koch at this weekend's UFC 149 event in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, however, it was later announced the fight would be derailed (along with many other "Cow Town" match-ups) because of an injury to the Brazilian's leg.

Looks like "Junior" is all patched up and ready to go.

if it's in the hsbc arena no way will zuffa put cain/jds there.  More than likely Vegas (mgm) bought the cain/jds fight and that's why it's off the toronto card.

Koch's only top five fight was a loss... you don't go from Brookins to Aldo.

The fact that they've announced this as the headliner, I don't think JDS/Cain will be on this card
