Phan: Seagal still a douche

"Never heard of him," Seagal told MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani. "Nam Fran? Is he an American guy? I don't know who this guy is and I don't really care."

On Monday's MMA Hour, the Vietnamese-American fighter who already has made a name for himself with MMA fans had a reply for the past-his-prime actor.

"You know what, I'm not the most famous fighter," Phan said. "But, whatever, I still think he's a douche."

Who knows? Maybe an impressive win will help "Nam Fran" become a household name. But if Phan saw Seagal at a UFC event, he wouldn't go out of his way to introduce himself.

"I wouldn't say anything to him," Phan said. "I'd just walk right past him, or maybe just snicker at him."

Chuck Norris needs to chime in on this and find a really talented fighter and ACT like he is teaching them something like Seagal did. Hell, let Snipes and Van Damm, and that guy who played Tong Po in kick boxer cash in on it as well !

I know Seagal's accomplishments are legit. But he seems like a walking parody these days. The leather floor length jackets and berets, the Tactical Glasses, the fact that he actually believes he taught Anderson Silva the front kick he used on Vitor, it's just one eyeroll after another.

Being a troll implies intentiality in deceiving others simply for the challenge of trying to get people to believe what you know is false.This is not what Seagal does. He is a legitimate narcissistic sociopath who is not playing a trolling game, but rather is intent on fabricating whatever he can in order to make himself look as great as possible. No doubt he even actually believes some of the stuff he says about himself. It's very common for individuals with this combination of personality disorders to be able to deceive themselves. The difference between a troll and a narcissistic sociopath is not really the activities they engage in, since these can essentially be the same activities, but their intent and their view of others and themselves. Also, trolls play these good natured games only periodically. For the narcissist, it is a way of life.
