The above figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners' bonuses.

The figures do not represent an full assessment of each fighter's income.

Fighters bear significant costs including training expenses, a percentage to management, a percentage to the trainer, insurance, licenses, and taxes.

On the income side, sponsorship money can be a substantial portion, or even exceed the purse from the fight.

Lastly, many fighters earn income from teaching, from appearances, and in many cases from regular employment in the non fighting space.

I think it was available on PPV if people didn't have showtime? (I saw DW tweet that) So I guess there will be some buys. I doubt it will be a significant amount tho.

Going to be tough getting pay per view money when strike force isn't pay per view.

She must be getting ppv money, otherwise shes getting swindled. Jacare got double her money, and created 5% of the hype/publicity

i'm pretty sure sponsorship pay is highly exaggerated, especially with a strikeforce card. ronda's muh baybeh, but i don't see her going over 100k after taxes

Now I know why Tate doesn't want a rematch."Wait.... what? I get the same money but I don't get my arm ripped off? Ah, geez, maybe I'm not ready for that rematch just yet."

She def deserves more.. Is it me or has Ronda become in that upper echelon of popularity among active MMA fighters? Maybe I'm in the hardcore bubble but I feel like she's as hyped up as any fighter in America.
