Munoz still up for bout with Lombard

source: bjpenn.com

That fight that I just fought, I kind of took it too early. I was fighting a number of injuries. I don't want to make any excuses, but he caught me with an elbow as I was just finding my groove.

You know Hector Lombard has been talking a lot about me. So I don't mind fighting him. I know he's upset about what I said about him. I didn't want to disrespect him at all. That's just how I felt before I was asked those questions. I didn't want to disrespect him. He's a very good fighter, but if he wants to go, we can go.

I would love to see Munoz win a fight and get the Titleshot. he is very close. Although he lost to Weidman, he was not healthy for that fight and would take the rematch similar to big nogs health in Nog 1 compared to how he looked in the second one.Weidmann is a good fighter but Munoz on his game is a little bit better.

I got Lombard in this fight, unless he comes out like he did in the last fight then Munoz should take this.

These two are fantastic. I don't think either of them should be considered near contender regardless of these post-fight-injury excuses. Feels a lil too Tito to me. Munoz wasn't disrespectful and Lombard is an endearing kind of crazy. Let them fight!

Mark just got destroyed by Weidman and you want to give him the WINNER of Stann/Bisping? What do you have against the guy?

No interest. Unless it's at 170. I think both guys would do fantastic at there. Munoz looks outta shape a lot of the time at 185. Especially that Weidman fight. And Lombard just has way too much muscle and it clearly inhibits his ability in the later rounds.

Nah, I wanna see Munoz fight the winner of Brian Stann vs Bisping, and see Okami fight Hector Lombard.

I think Munoz wins 9 times out of 10.
