without jones the UFC would be the exact same. actually it might help the LHW division by making it more competitive. you are wrong.

I actually think the fighters who fight on the undercards should pay jones in the next event. without jones, they wouldn't make anything. nobody pays to see brennaman. everyone pays for jones

Two points Smellde, One, alot of people are annoyed not becaue it was his duty to pay, but because this is likely a lie to make everyone feel bad without actually paying - I mean he had alot of chances to mention this. It also comes off as petty even if it was true, which I doubt, that he makes every fighter suffer for certin fighters insulting him / changed his mind over twitter insults. \Two, there's a difference between not watching a fighter because he's annoying - which I would agree is retarded - and having an opinion on a fighter.I'll always watch JJ fight because all that matters is fighting ability, true. However, if he's fighting a favorite of mine like Belfort, who I watched back in the early days, I'm obviously not gonna support him cus I dislike his personality. Likewise, if I'm picking a fighter to shell cash out to for merchandise and support, I'm alot less likely to do it to someone who I think is a total dick. So yes, personality still has an impact on how alot of ppl percieve a fighter and I don't think that's wierd at all

Considering helping these people doesn't mean shit. It didn't help any of them pay their bills. Not to mention, it's not like he refused to pay the ones who insulted them, he's saying now he won't pay anyone on the card, even fighters who didn't insult him. Throw in the fact that he never mentioned this during apology or any public statements, and it becomes painfully clear he's making this up after the fact as an extra fuckU!Even if he isn't making this up, giving the money away would be a selfless statement, make everyone apologize and feel terrible - and it would be the right type of maneuver, helping people because he felt bad. Saying he won't do it now because he's getting shit ruins the entire point of the gesture imoAnd I'm annoyed JJ didn't take the fight, but in no way think it's his responsability to pay for it. Just think this is the most weaksauce statement by JJ

Oh and JJ is so faggy, and I don't mean gay, I really really do mean the Louis CK definition of it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-otAJrtY-wI think he's a prodigy, my favorite fighter to watch, and I'l always watch his fights and support his PPV revenue, but I can't get over how bad he is at PR lolFirst he makes a dramatic statement like this is my cross to bear, then hints that its Hendo's fault, and now is saying outright Heel comments like it's old man Hendo's fault with his knee. I wouldn't mind him saying this from the get go, but I'm so sick of him flip flopping. Same with this shit ,either say it isn't my godamn job to pay you all. Or say, I feel bad and I'll pay you all. Don't say you would've, but now that you're all mean I changed my mind lol What an empty fake statement

Someone on BE cited an Athletic Comission legal document and explained that UFC has to pay the fighters for an upcoming event if it is canceled.

Anyone know if this is true? Obviously don't cover travel expenses, and I think someone else mentioned they may not need to pay if the fighters are immediately booked on a close-dated upcoming event. Curious what the details of this clause are thoughEdit: Really sorry for the ensuing page-rape. I'm hyper off coffee and didn't pay attention to see if people were commenting between my comments :/

Jon Jones is a very nice person. The FACT that he considered doing this shows he is classier than the UFC and Dana White. War Jon Jones 205 AND MMA GOAT

Another fake reply. I also considered paying all the fighters and their win bonus but chose not to because they attacked Jones.
