Carwin: Nelson a back stabber, I don't respect him

source: TapouT Radio

I don't respect that guy. I don't like him. I just think he's disrespectful. He'll talk all kinds of sh*t behind your back and stuff, but then when he's at my face, all he wanted to do was talk about the UFC contracts to me. I'm like, 'Who are you, man? Get out of my face.' I'm just not up for that type of bullsh*t. I hate people that when you turn around, they're stabbing you in the back, and when you're back at their face, they're trying to be your best friend. That doesn't work for me. There's nobody else I want to fight more. I can't wait to fight this guy. I'm excited that he'll be the first guy I get to punch when I get back to action.

Listen, Roy is a talented fighter. Could he be a lot better? I think he could if he would actually be serious about it, and have coaches he would listen to, and things like that. I'm pretty sure he's uncoachable. He just likes to hear himself talk and tell everybody how great he is.

Nelson all day.Carwin's cardio seems alot more suspect to me than Roy's, tbhEspecially if its a 5 rounder, definitely Nelson

Haulton is correct. All hype. Like Roy Nelson doesnt train seriously. LOL. He may enjoy a cheeseburger but has BB in a few diciplines. Went all the way with JDS and is in Danas head.

I feel a bet coming on! I think Carwin takes it if it goes less than two full rounds, but if it goes over 2 (with no decision), it's a Roy Nelson stoppage. Prop bet that this fight doesn't go the full five is almost easy money.

I would assume that this fight would be main event, and therefore a 5 rounder. I think Shane takes it well before the fifth.

I think both scenarios are possible, it really depends on the players/situation. Even though reality tv shows are embellished in a way that you can easily see how they "manufacture" drama, many times in real life I see situations at work or around friends/family that make me think "Jesus Christ, if this shit was being filmed for mtv/bravo/network/ect. it would get huge ratings." I'm not sure why people on here always rush to assume that the drama shown during ufc press conferences or on the hype shows are necessarily embellished. Yes the UFC gains by exacerbating situations and dull real life scenarios into dramatic storylines (and god forbid they make a fight interesting) but with how naturally competitive mma is, I could easily see the kind of drama between Sonnen/Silva or Carwin/Nelson or Jones/Evans being legitimate enough to be real. Unless you know these guys personally and you have some info about these situations being contrived, I'd say its just as likely as it is unlikely that these beefs are lagit.
