Gus is tough but i hnestly think Shogun is shot..he doesnt have the cardio or crisp striking he once, he is undersized for his division...he always get manhandled in these fights.. gusta was impresive tonight but i still dont see what he has that will pose a legit problem to jones..Jones has him beat in every area..

well sure if going to the ground and letting your face get punched in is winning then yes he won the first round. easy win for gustaffson. the minor league legend is done! Gustaffson will be easy for Jones but that just goes to show how simple a fight with rua would be for Jon.

Gus obviously won the fight but props to Shogun, perhaps the last legend that has a chance at a lower weight but I doubt he'll take advantage

I don't blame Gus for point scoring, would he really want to take the huge risk of continuously going for the K.O against Mauricio? Against the great fighters, you've got to play it safe sometimes.

Yah what kind of mma fighter would try to win a fight by mixing it up and using a strategy. What an idiot!!

Shogun won the first round. Also Gus did go for a lot of point takedowns in the 2nd and 3nd. Decent fight overall. 29-28 Gus.

lol at the name calling.. Someone is mad are they? Both fighters went for takedowns and scrambled out of them.. Gus was winning on the feet and had strikes on the ground as well.. 30-27 GusNow you go away or don't.. No one cares

Yes, it was like watching old Fedor videos. Man you're a tool. He stood up. A lot. Or just let Shogun scramble to his feet.... easily. Which means it wasn't actually important for him to keep him down. Which defeats the point of the takedown. Which means that he was doing it to score points. Now go away.

Pretty sure Gus was throwing punches and elbows from the top.. Only time he backed out from a takedown was when it looked like Shogun was gonna roll for a kneebar..OWNED
