The numbers that get reported to the athletic commissions are only the contracted salaries. These figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Further, they do not contain money paid by sponsors, Fight Night bonuses from the UFC, discretionary bonuses, etc.

In addition to the numbers above. UFC president Dana White paid Melvin Guillard his show purse after Jamie Varner withdrew from their bout the day of the fight due to illness.

Wait a minute $6k to get your face smashed in per fight? Are you serious? That is a freaking joke.$48k for someone like Nelson to fight? Avis rentacar and McDonald's managers make that much and they don't life a finger during their work day.Guys like Pac and Mayweather burn that kind of money for fun.

Dont forget they all made TRIPLE their show money via secret, completely discretionary bonuses. Its done this way to PROTECT the fighters and make their friends and fam think theyre too broke to ask for money! ...............

I wonder how much revenue they brought in vs. total costs. That seems pretty cheap for fighter pay.

I think it's kind of silly that the TUF finale guys get the basic UFC 8k to show, 8K to win. They are 2 of the stars of a 12 episode tv show ran by the UFC, and then the loser goes on to get 8k.They were also the co main event.

I don't know why the UFC still refuses to make public the total compensation to every athlete, like other sports do. Articles like this one, after every event, continue to make it look like these young men are training, fighting and risking their well-being for pennies.
