Tito Ortiz questions Ronda Rousey belt

UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz, who currently manages Cris 'Cyborg' Santos, questions Ronda Rousey's belt, and feels Santos is the better fight than Rousey vs. Carmouche.

Later in the complete interview Tito called for a fight with Santos at a catchweight.

"Let's do a match and have a chance of her cutting to 135-pounds, possibly. If it's possible she can do it. It's just really tough. Just being with Cyborg and wrestling her myself, she's a big girl. To make it down to 135-pounds, it would be kind of health threatening, I think. But at the same time, I would love for the fight to happen. Let's meet in the middle."

"For a woman to cut that much weight - you've go to understand, she's small. She's cutting from 170 down trying to make 135, that's a big, big, big, big cut. That's a lot for a woman to cut. And it's just health reasons when it comes down to it. We want to see an exciting fight. Do it at 140-pounds, I think that would make the best difference.

"I support Ronda Rousey. I hope she does well and I hope she wins. I think the biggest fight in women's mixed martial arts is Cyborg vs. Ronda Rousey... I wish Ronda can win the fight and just keep building for this big fight to happen."

I'm not saying that it has to be her first title defense, but catchweight fights happen all the time.

she had a year to stop juicing. It doesn't mean anything though. How is it obvious that cyborg wants to continue juicing? What the problem with Rhonda fighting at a catchweight? Oh yeah, there is no problem and she would get every inch of her ass kicked.

How can that belt become meaningful if people want to drop it before the first ever title defense. At least give it a chance guys.....sheesh.

Pointless. The cheater has had how long to stop juicing and drop a couple lbs of roid-muscle? Obviously cyborg simply wants to continue cheating and continue fighting in a division with no real competition.

That's how I feel as a fan, the belt seems less meaningful than the others. But like we discussed earlier, I doubt Dana would do that.

How does the Ronda belt/weight divvy creation compare to the Aldo intro to UFC situation?

Tito can still cut a promo. I also love that he has always referred to the UFC belt as a World Title. Love me some Tito.
