In this trailer for an MMA short film by TapouT Films founder Bobby Razak, billionaire film maker George Lucas talks about his daughter Amanda's MMA career. The documentary will profile the fighter, with a major focus on her entry into the women's MMA circuit.
MMA frequently breaks the mold of fighters coming from a hardscrabble background, but Lucas, well, breaks the mold - not too many billionaire's daughters choose to make money by fighting in a cage.
"I think I never felt I measured up to other kids," relates Amada. "So when I really fell in love with Jiu-Jitsu that was kind of what really got me wanting to do this... It's very exciting that this is what I can do for myself, not what he can do for me."
Her father, George Lucas recounts his response.
"I didn't know a lot about mixed martial arts until a few years ago," said George. "I was a bit surprised when she came to me and said "I want to do this." I said well, 'Ok, do what you love.'"
